So what's up with A lately? Last Friday she had her first middle school dance - for 6th and 7th grades only. I asked her if boys would be there (LOL) and she said "uh yea". I asked who and her reply was "I don't know, but ALL of us girls are going". I thought, OH JOY! God bless those boys! In the car I quizzed the girls (I drove her and 2 of her friends) and asked them if A had a bfriend - they said no that the boys thought she was mean... I HAD A HUGE SMILE ON MY FACE! Anyhoo, she looked like a million dollars! Pics below of my beautiful little girl who's growing up sooo quickly! Poor baby has been down with a nasty virus for the last 3 days though. She started meds but they are taking their slow sweet time. She'll miss school again tomorrow too due to this fever not going away. This morning it was 103.2. LOVELY. And the cast... well now we've moved on from purple, to orange, to lime green. The MRI showed that her growth plate does have sort of damage to it because there is swelling. They are concerned because the plate area healing as it heals verrrrrry verry slowly and decided to recast her. If she bumps it she could do more damage to it and really cause rukus. Ideally they'd like to see her weekly but because of the nusience that would cause (us driving in, them taking the cast off, poking her, recasting, ect.) they have us coming back every 2 weeks now. The dr did mention surgery but we are praying that doesn't become the solution.
So my sweet kid is hanging out, being cool, coughing, aching, and just being.... love her so much as I do both of my sweet babes. xoxoxox
